Accept That Challenge-www.semm.com

Spirituality Could that be you? Well, you might have a hold of the sheet a little bit, but could that be you? Doing just enough to get by and your dignity is suffering, your self respect is suffering. Here are some suggestions. The first suggestion is to get up out of the bed~so, here’s the Sealy Posturepedic Personget up out of the bed. Get up out of the bed. Get up out of the bed and accept a challenge that God has given us from his work concerning labor. Accept that challenge. With a smile on your face, say, "God, I cannot wait to get involved in an occupation to develop all of these abilities and gifts you’ve given me." Because, if you lie dormant, you’ll never know your spiritual potential. Now, I’m talking about your spiritual potential in the marketplace. So, the first suggestion, get up out of bed and accept the challenge. The second suggestion is, get to know your CEO. And here’s where Colossians 3:23 .es in. Colossians 3:23 says, "Whatever you do"-whatever you do, lay bricks, work on engines, cut real estate deals, operate on people, settle cases–"Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart." Energy and excellence. All of your heart. You see, the Christians are the ones that should be writing all of the books in the marketplace concerning excellence. Why? Because we’re working for the ultimate CEO and that’s the Lord. So we’re the ones that ought to be writing them. So, "Work with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men." So, who are we working for? We’re working for the Lord. So, when I walk on the job site, no matter what it is or where it is, I should think about, "Yeah, I have a boss, but I’m working for the Lord." And when we have that picturelisten to thiswhen we have that picture, every job site be.es a temple of worship and every project be.es an offering, a tangible offering, of worship, of exaltation to the Lord. So, when you’re balancing the books, or writing on the ledger, or closing that particular sale, or getting another client, or preaching a message, or studying for the trigonometry test, you’re working for the Lord. And if you understand that concept, your work will be an expression of worship to God. "Well, I thought we just worshiped a couple of hours every Sunday." We do, but we also can worship at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Does your work worship? You see, work is a present. It’s not punishment. Ed Young 相关的主题文章:
